Randy Graise is a professional motivational speaker born with a rare disability called Osteogenesis Imperfecta.  Although this disability has made this award winning speaker a wheelchair user all of his life, he has not let it stop him from becoming not only an inspiration to others, but through his professional speaking and training organization Ran Del Enterprises, Randy delivers disability related training and other training programs designed to enhance the personal and/or professional success of your group!

 

The World of Work  

What do employers really want from their employees?  What makes a good person a good employee?  Which skills are most important for success in the workplace?  These questions and more are answered in Randy's World of Work training.

Topics include effective listening skills, improving self-esteem, requesting reasonable accommodations, understanding basic principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Designing Your Destiny

Designed for persons in employment transition, this workshop looks not only at what it takes to build a career, but also how to determine who you bring to the table as an individual.

 

Participants are encouraged to think outside the box of their self-imposed limitations to live their dreams.  Focus is also placed on identifying skills and interests, setting goals, life management skills and more.

VR101: Understanding Vocational Rehabilitation

This workshop is designed especially for applicants who express an interest in vocational rehabilitation services.  The purpose of this training is to teach applicants how to prepare themselves for working with voc/rehab agencies effectively.  Participants will learn:

 

-What VR means

-The goals of VR agencies

-Contributions consumers make to their VR plan

Postsecondary Transition for Students with Disabilities

Who could better serve as a role model and coach for students with disabilities than an award winning youth mentor and business owner who happens to be a professional trainer with a disability?

 

Randy offers students that attend this workshop undisputable proof that having a disability and being disabled are two very different things.  Students learn how to accept their disabilities as a part of their individuality and not something to be ashamed of.  Participants learn how to disclose their need for accommodations in college or in the workplace.  Other topics include:

 

-Living independently

-Fitting in at college/at work

-How to work with personal assistants

-Utilizing public services (i.e., public transportation)

The Art of Listening: The Key To Communication

Effective listening skills are critical in personal and professional success.  As a stand alone, half-day workshop or as part of an overall communication seminar, The Art of Listening is a practical presentation that focuses on the three dimensions of listening; focusing, comprehending, and feedback.

Building Self-Confidence

Meet Me Half Way: Motivating Clients to Succeed

Working with populations in transition can be challenging.  What can be even more challenging is when you're the only one working in the "partnership."  During Meet Me Half Way, Randy talks strategies to help obtain 'buy-in' and cooperation from persons having difficulty with getting motivated to meet goals.  Starting with an understanding of cultural differences, this 'coaching the coaches' sessions demonstrates how other programs have helped clients get a jump start on success.
