Destination Literacy- Phase ll

This publication is designed for those who work or volunteer in the adult literacy field intending to identify and assist adults with learning disabilities. It offers practical teaching strategies and useful information to assist students who have been unable to grasp basic literacy skills and who may have a learning disability. The section on Screening and Academic Assessments of Adults at Risk for learning Disabilities provides an easy to use screening questionnaire and screening checklists as well as a case study that guides the reader through the screening process.
